+ACampbell
I'm in the market for a SLR camera. Preferably a canon digital rebel xti. Let me know what you got.
+ACampbell
Does anybody else use the rebel XTi. What's your fav lens for aquarium photography? I'm wondering if someone will let me take a test drive on it before I spend the money.

+ACampbell
How do you like it so far? Big leaning curve?
xcreonx
Whichever you get, you'll definitely want a macro lens for closeup shots. I have a few SLRs I use: Nikon D100 (6mp), Nikon F5 (35mm) and Nikon F (35mm). Yes, I like Nikon! As far as lenses go I only use two: Nikon 17-35mm 1.8, and Nikon 60mm Micro (Macro lens). Never used the Rebel but I know people really like it.
+dapettit
BIG learning curve. I've used Nikon's all my life 35mm. Started with an FTN and end with and F3. This is my first dslr.
GKarshens
I have a D100 too and am about to upgrade to a D200. So the D100 will be going for sale soon. I really want the 105mm Macro lens but don't have the cash. I use a macro extension tube instead for ultra close-ups. It's a bit harder to use but cost $20. +dapettit
Can they be used with the D80? Where did you get the extension tube?
GKarshens
Sure it can be used with any SLR. You just have to buy one for Nikon. I got it on Ebay.
+ACampbell
So I decided to go with the XTi So far I am really bad at it. I've got a lot to learn. Here's a few good ones out of the 3 billion I've taken today.
