Austinvines Posted July 18, 2006 Share Posted July 18, 2006 I found an electric vho ballast for fairly cheap (50% retail). I have a 440w with an icecap 660 with two 10000 k and two actinics. I'd like to run the actinics on the "new" ballast and the daylights on the 660. Do the wiring harnesses from the 660 work for other VHOs as well? I'd like to be able to run actinics for an hour before and after the daylights turn on and off and hope this would work. What do you think? hammondegge Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 dylan, i think that the ballast harnesses are fairly distinctive to the manufacturer. try the manufacturers wed site for the new ballast and you should be able to find a wiring diagram. sometimes it is printed on the ballast itself.
