SoonerFan
I just sold a nice oak 55 Gallon setup off this site to someone a couple of weeks ago. There is a link now on Craigslist to the aquarium using the picture I took in my own living room asking $50 more than I sold it for. I suppose it is American capitalism at its finest. GKarshens
I think that is kinda funny. I guess you'll have to wait and see if they get it. What would be really funny is if they have to drop the price and take a loss.
KarenM
This comes up a lot on craigslist. I don't know these particular circumstances, but I don't see a problem with it if $50 was your asking price. If it's worth $100, you could have taken the time to try and sell it for that. If it's not, he probably won't get it. I've given away things that I've seen on CL later, as I figured I would. But I didn't really want to take the time to advertise, take pics, etc. I WOULD have a problem with it if you had sold it for less than it's worth because he was a friend or member of this forum, etc. Then I would consider it taking advantage of you. +ACampbell
That would make me POed. I think it might just be haggling room. I always get low offers on CL.
Entropy
It is not worth worrying about IMO. You never know the details and it doesn't really matter for $50 which could represent wiggle room as mentioned, or the time and effort to get the tank from you, haul it to who knows where and set it up/store it. I doubt the person is trying to make a living off it. On the other hand using your picture is not cool.
