chatfouz Posted December 3, 2007 Share Posted December 3, 2007 check the garage sales. ive found all my strip lights for a dollar or 2. then get better bulbs from the local stores. i have 3 strip lights i used on my ten gal. one has a new actinic light, one has 2 new 50\50 lights, the last one is just an old school bulb that came with it. i have em now on my 30 gal tank. total i think they are around 60 watts or so. i used all three on my ten. I really dont now lights well but the three lights together worked well for the softies i had. oddly now that i have a bigger tank the xenia just does not survive... anyway if you dont find anything pm me.
