+Mlaw
I bumped into an acquaintance the other day that works in applied robotics, specifically taking concepts and turning them into products and I mentioned this thing to him. He got really excited about the concept, especially when I told him that if he could get it down to $100 a pop he'd have a line out the door. Hopefully the robo-snail will have some competition soon at a better price point.
+Mlaw
And then chatted with a patent lawyer friend of mine who quickly pulled up the robosnail patent. Won't be any cheaper knock offs for awhile.
