jsr
What is the best algea for a lawnmower? When I first got him, he would tear through anything that was growing, including nasty hair algae. Now, he grazes a little on the rocks, wont touch the hair algae, and will not eat the green sea algae I put on the clip. I am worried he's not eating enough. He is a little skinny too. He has been in the tank for about 2 months now. James

Entropy
Mine eats mysid, film algae off the glass and rocks, and Dainichi marine reef veggie mix (pellets). Mine is fat, but then all my fish are getting that way.
jsr
Thanks Rich. I will give the veggie mix a shot. James
4R00P3R
Now I remember. GARLIC. There are suplements that have garlic which entice appetite. He should be eating all the hair and film and even brown algae. Mine is fat and I don't have to feed him at all in my 105g even with other herbivores. I don't know if it will work, but it's probably worth a shot.
