SourDatx
Recently lost all my fish so decided its time for a qt tank. Maybe 20-30 gallon. Let me know whatcha got. I know its slim but I only have about a $150-200 range. Thanks for looking.
mrshall1027
You can just get a 30 gallon tank with a hang on back filter from petsmart. Shouldn't be too pricey. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk

(Bio)³
I'd buy the above set that is for sal, part out the rock since you wont need it in QT to make some money back. Also you get a clown so you are on your way to more fish And any extra hardware like 5 gallon jugs or cleaning supplies you dont need you can bundle and resell to reduce cost again. Planeden
1. I think petco is having the $1/gallon sale this weekend. 2. i am just starting out, so i need some of the maintenence supplies and perhaps the powerhead if you go Bio3's route. jestep
I would recommend just a simple air powered sponge filter for biological filtration and a small powerhead for water movement. Easy, cheap, and works very well.
Planeden
thanks jestep. i think we forgot heater, though. SourDatx, by the way, sorry about your fish. I just started a FW QT for the same reason. All of the fish in there were about 5 years old, add one new one; all dead in less than a week. We let the tank run for about a month empty and dosed with Melafix just to be sure nothing was lurking in there. We started adding our new fish about 10 days ago and they seem to be doing fine. Sad thing is, we are still waiting for the QT to cycle so we can add more. Starting to have trouble with that patience thing. Good luck.
