+dapettit
I know this is another opended end question but you folks have been very helpful getting our reef system up. . . I was wondering what is being use to dose 2 part solutions like B-Ionic. I am growing tried of dosing my 29 and I feel it would be worst with the 150. I have been looking at IV pumps and such. I would like to stay under $150 and I don't want to deal with gravity feed products. I have been looking at these to products as well COMPACT 199235 AQUARIUM DOSING PUMP W/NEW TUBING Reef Dosing Pump What do you suggest? TIA, Dave and Robin-
Headless_donkey
This is my favorite It is expensive, but it is four complete pumps and controller. Remember you need a separate pump for each thing you are dosing. I have seen it on ebay for a little cheaper. You can also you aqualifter pumps on digital timers, but it is harder to get small amounts of stuff. BTW I have never used a dosing pump. The above mentioned one just looks really cool and has tempted me several times.

Headless_donkey
We need to find the original Chinese manufacturer of this pump
GKarshens
I would look into a calcium reactor. Makes life much easier and adds other elements we can't dose for.
Headless_donkey
These guys are in Austin A reactor might be a good idea. Gabriel-do you still dose things?
GKarshens
Nope. I have Mag pellets in my reactor for magnesium.

+ACampbell
Agreed. I can't believe I use to dose every day. In fact. I didn't. I simply forgot. Gabe, I didn't know about mag pellets. I'll have to try it out.
GKarshens
You have to run your CR at a lower PH for them to work but totally worth it to me. I keep mine at 6.5.
