nanoreefer11
I dropped my RKL head unit in my sump today while switching stands and my backup is running a much outdated firmware and isn't working correctly with my pc4s. Does anyone have an extra RJ12 6-pin couple (female to female) that connects the SID to the RKL head unit? I'm in SM and if you can meet me somewhere near kyle that would be awesome.. I can hook you up with a frag for your trouble or I have a spare 20 long you can have. If you let me borrow it I can mail it back to you monday evening. Thanks! (Bio)³
Yikes! good thing you had a back up!
nanoreefer11
The backup is alright but the firmware is so old on it that it's not correctly reading the i-temp (it required calibration with a digital therm).. I'm hoping to get it updated and back working again asap. If anyone has an RKL and the coupling and some time tomorrow night lmk please. mFrame
Have you tried Fry's in Austin, or a local radio shack?
(Bio)³
Why not just run one wire? I don't get why the coupler is so vital, just curious. I'd try frys also Perhaps an altex
