Completely silent, excellent skimmer! The Red Dragon pump makes this a real beast. Purchased brand new in Spring 2012, only used ~3 months.

I have a large 30(ish) gallon plastic Rubber Maid tub FULL of Bio-balls. There are 3-4 varieties, pick the entire load up for $10.

Oh yeah, added 5 gallon water jugs. I certainly don't need a ton of these things any more.

Just out of total curiosity, why do you have so many bioballs?

I was in the Monster Fish Keeper scene, collecting large freshwater fish. I picked up a 300 gallon tank for them, and collected bio-balls to fill a large sump. I just ended up with more of them than I ever realized.
