Demodiki Posted November 21, 2012 Share Posted November 21, 2012 I just wired in a new ballast. When I plug th elights in they come on for a second then go out. FarmerTy Posted November 21, 2012 Share Posted November 21, 2012 Incomplete circuit I believe. Last time that happened to me, it was a bulb that was burnt out. Confused me at first because all the bulbs were new... kept thinking for sure it was the ballast. new55galSALT Posted November 24, 2012 Share Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) I was just about to say incomplete circut check endcaps plastic tombstone ones are known to be faulty goodthing you figured it out though electronic ballasts require a complete circut to "fire-up" and sometimes even if the bulb is "new" doesn't mean some one didnt damage the internals by dropping it .... ive bought bad new bulbs before Edited November 24, 2012 by new55galSALT Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
