kmacc05
So I just put a pair of firefish into my tank. havent been in for more than 10 mins and my blue spot goby has eaten one! Is this normal behavior?! My fish are well fed so this has got me stumped. The other one is still alive, but keeps hanging out by the fallen one while he is being consumed. So i dont want him to go next. This is a bummer
Timfish
It's not what I would have expected. That being said gobies have pretty big mouths for a reason and fish do have personalities and I've been surprised quite a few times.
(Bio)³
my blue spot goby will put his mouth o my clowns faces when he bites.... whole mouth over the face. It freaks the clowns out something bad, they sit there and shiver for 20 min submitting to him. Needless to say he rules the tank, but he protects my little firefish from the clowns. The clowns will chase the firefish and it will swim past the goby and Mr. grumpy shoots up and stops the clowns dead, allows the firefish to go hide in the rocks and keeps the clowns out! kmacc05
Thats crazy. The last one was in there this morning. But we just got back from eating and he seems to be missing as well. I guess my blue spot rules the tank too.
