George Monnat Jr
I bought an Aqueon Pro 100W heater from RCA to replace the glass one in my sump. I need at least two more to get the wattage I need in the 125g, but I'm wondering if I should stick with the Aqueons. I've used a 50W in my 20g for about a month with no problems. Has anybody had a problem with these heaters?
George Monnat Jr
No complaints, so I'll buy two more from RCA. I trust RCA, but others may have direct experience that they don't.
(Bio)³
I've seen hydro use these on QT tanks, they worked great every time we pulled em out of storage across the year and a half they were used.

Thanks, that makes me feel better. I'm more paranoid about heaters than anything else. Not so much for runaway temperature anymore with the Apex, but copper contamination is my bugaboo. (Bio)³
I prefer to use a heater like above that I can set at a temp, then plug it into my apx that sets that outlet to come on a at a temp... as much redundancy as I can make I'll use!
