It's a automatic skimmer neck cleaner. It's made by avast and can be cusom made for your skimmer cup which may require you to send them your skimmer cup cover. You can also save $50 on their already low price by ordering a kit that you put together yourself. I'm not sure about hot linking here so just google it.

I need a swabbie. My fancy $700 skimmer seems to only be effective with a clean neck which only last a couple days after cleaning it. That's next on my list.

interesting, today is the first time I've ever heard it, thanks for the explanation. when i ran my skimmer that its something i could've used.

I got one a few weeks ago, and it is nice. I also got the skimmate locker that I can connect to my controller to turn off the skimmer if a lot of skimmate over flows. Having a nice clean neck in the skimmer is great, but you still need to clean the skimmer cup every week.
