wizardx322 Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 So i got this tank over a year ago and gave it to my little brother. he broke it done a couple of weeks ago and i wanted to try LED's thanks to someone on the reef club lol .i was going to put t5's for now till i found a good deal. Anyway i have a sps tank and didnt want to just change to LEDs without knowing how they would react. so i set this tank up connected to my system through the sump. Its a reef ready 30 gal w/ evolution 120w led ( thanks chad and belinda) i just made the canopy and repainted the stand. i plan on cutting some of my coral and placing it in there along with all the extra stuff on my sandbed that just gets thrown around : ) not sure if i will put alot of live rock i got 5 rbtas and will be moving at least 1 over to it to see how it does with LED'S . i hope all turns out well for this project and hopefully get rid of my mh on my 90 eventually if all is good with the LED's. here are the pics from today i finaly got it set up. and a pic of my 90 gal Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
