I'm going to go ahead and start with current tank info rather than trying to backtrack and cover how I got started. zcatzmeow Posted September 5, 2008 Author Share Posted September 5, 2008 My 12 Gallon The focus of my 12 gallon tank is ricordea corals, both display and propagation. - about 8lbs live rock - white sand bed with fine and course sand - inhabitants: Harlequin Shrimp pair, blue neon stripe goby, 2 Redi Seahorses orange/yellow - corals: lots of ricordea, several yumas, 2 t. crocea clams, SPS - several types of macro algae (need to look up names) - Viper 150w MH, Phoenix 14k blue bulb - IceProbe nano chiller run with small HOB filter - tank modded to include two pump outlets, right now these are not in use because of seahorses, need to figure out what to do with the flow - custom wood canopy and bottom cap Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's his domain and everything that goes in must get along with him or they get voted out of the cube - about 20lbs live rock - black/white medium grit sand - HOB CPR Aquafuge (for copepods, amphipods, and small frags) - lighting upgraded by nanotuners.com to include 2 actinics and 4 blue moonlights - 1/10 hp chiller - stock media tray removed - 2 pumps upgraded to maxi-jets - ReefKeeper 2 handles temperature, 24 hr lighting scheme, and wavemaker effect - inhabitants: Beemer, Tailspot Blenny, Lawnmower Blenny, Strawberry pseudochromis, clingfish - critters: several cowries, turbo snails, nerite snails, and margarita snails; emerald crab Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
