Noodle
Razoring would work fine to scrap off stubborn coraline algae from a glass tank. You've got a good plan to use it once and then toss it out, since the razors rust unbelievable fast after a stint in saltwater.
JamesL
I agree with Noodle. I use razor blades every week to get the algae near the sand bed and where the magnet scraper can't get to.

LoneStar
Just be aware when using new razor blades, a lot of manufactures coat the blades in oil to prevent them from rusting. I'd wash them in water and make sure all the oil is removed before using them in your tank. Otherwise you can't beat using them for scrapping algea off the glass.
