gbelcik Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 selling my mantis tank.... dont need two tanks biocube 14 WITH stand new Ballast, lights,LED, and fans - all under 3 months old built a cave (pics included) that sits down in sandbed to save space has a 5" Peacock mantis shrimp eats frozen krill or will smash up and eat anything you put in there has about 10 lbs of liverock and rubble for him to make his entrances about 25 heads of large brown polys GSP growing throughout tank and starting to grow on backwall 3" sandbed 200$ obo but definately willing to trade for some stuff, looking for: 2 small powerheads single MP10 anenome corals in a partial trade... let me know what you got doubt anyone has one but an EB8 for APEX controller Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't know who told you that a 14 gallon bio-cube is acceptable for a Peacock Mantis, but they need to be in at least a 30 gallon. 40 gallon breeder is good. A 120 and he/she will go exploring their mansion. In the link (if you read it..) it states 100l which is NOT 100 gallons. It is liters and that would make their recomendation a 26 gallon aquarium. The OP's mantis is only 5", so that tank is fine.
