stoneroller Posted November 3, 2010 Share Posted November 3, 2010 I purchased a few extra float switches in my last shipment. $9 each. reversible, 4 ft leads. Thanks to Apedroza I have been using this topoff setup for years. I tie these into an extension cord and plug in an aqualifter pump to deliver topoff water to my sump --- on the cheap. Very reliable but you can set up two -- one a little higher than the other -- for redundancy. I also use the extra plastic blinds from my shades for the mounting bracket. Heat it up with a hair dryer and bend to shape -- custom fit! I have a bunch left over if you need one. Do not plug into high voltage or amperage equipment to test!
