GKarshens
This is an Ehiem Canister Filter with media in it. Bruce at Aquatek told me this unit retails for $400 without media. Asking $200.
caferacermike
GK, you gotta tell them that this thing is almost 5 gallons for them to understand. Don't leave out that the pump is a 1262. Would be great for a huge predator or fish only. Many of you are also freshwater. I had this same filter on our 125g and was it ever awesome. I paid closer to $500 for the filter and right around $400 for Eheim media. You could even consider this filter for your small backyard pond. Seriously. Bump for best canister filter in the world. Woods
I agree! I currently run one on my 180g FW African Cichlid tank and it is awesome. Best Canister Filter ever. I clean it once a year so very low maintenance. There are 2 sizes, a 2250 and a 2260. The 2260 is the 5gallon bucket size and the 2250 is about 2/3 the height. The 2260 is rated for about a 400 gallon tank.
Robb in Austin
Wasn't this a find/freebie? I'll come out tonight and pay you $100 for it all.
