Myvirtue
I just built a sump/fuge. i plan on having some cheato and whatever else i can put in there. my fug is about 12inches long, 18inches deep and about 18inches wide. what kinda of lighting should i use to allow everything to strive? i dont want a hi tech light, just something that will do the job. someone told me i could buy a fixture at lowes/ home depot, but i have no idea what kind, and what kinda bulb. and can i buy the bulb from the same place... Im also ciurious if i should put either live rock or sand at the bottom. thanks looking for any suggestions this is all new to me
Tallspawn
I recently picked up a CPR 13 inch AquaFuge light. It's working really well, it does get a little warm though. I looks like there is about 3 different sizes of this particular fixture, and it does come with sliding adjustable stands. As for the the bottom, You'll get different answers from everyone, I'm sticking with just live rock, macro and mangroves...
Derry
If all you're actively growing in there is algae, I've got a cheapo HD clip-on lamp with a grow bulb from The Light Bulb Shop on mine.
