Robb in Austin
Too cool. Edit: It's not very evident looking at the video alone, but that is a blue ringed octo he is playing with! Cool, but not very smart.
Laura
Oh my gosh!! I have to admit something here....I was shell collecting on Marco Island last week...I put a whole bunch of shells in my collecting pouch they gave me at the hotel...I took all my shells and put them on our balcony so I could go get more...when I came back a couple of hours later, they was a baby octopus that must have been in one of the crevices of the shell...it wandered across the tile and unfortunately, it was too late for me to save it...I felt HORRIBLE!!!! I had no idea he was in there....

Gonzobob
Not considered reef safe due to diet. If you're interested there a lot of infomation about keeping octopi at TONMO. http://www.tonmo.com/forums/forum.php
Robb in Austin
We also have a local, I don't want to say expert, person who has kept octos. I'm sure he'll pipe up later.
