Headless_donkey
We are working a new 110 and I am trying to decide what kind of drain pipe to install. Initially I was set on a durso, but the drain is 2". This large plumbing means a full durso is going to take up a lot of tank space. So I was reading about the stockman pipe and thought it would be a good alternative. Does anyone have experience with these? Are there distinct advantages and disadvantages to each? thank you
xcreonx
I've had about the same results which each of them. The noise is comparable on both. It's been rumored that the Stockman may be able to drain more water, but I can't say for sure. Right now I have a Stockman on one of my drains and it works great. I previously had two dursos, and as I said, the noise differences aren't noticeable, just the size.
Headless_donkey
Well that sounds pretty convincing. I am definitely leaning toward the stockman. thank you edit: well I changed my mind and will be doing a durso. I was trying to conserve very little space in a six foot long tank. I just needed some perspective. thank you
