Onebb
So currently the display-side water level of my Solana 34g is approximately 3/4 inch below the top of the glass. I would like to lower the display side water level to about 1.5inches so that I might add an MP10W and not have issues with wave action overflowing over the glass. Any suggestions? I am thinking about drilling some holes below the stock overflow slots to add to the overflow rate from the display to the skimmer chamber. Would this work? Thanks, Dylan
Gonzobob
That, or exnteding the current slits the water flows through.
medi
I ran an MP20 at full bore in wave mode on my Solana for over a year and never once did the water even come close to splashing out of the top. I would imagine the MP10 would put out even less of a wave. I wouldn't be to worried about it.
Brooks
The wave action on the MP10s are not very strong. I'm using one in my 34g and it isn't near the top of the glass.
