+Lamont
Thats pretty cool. i still think it will miss some spots. If its $50 buck i may consider it. I have a feeling it will be $179.
Gonzobob
They are saying $100 - $110. Sadly RoboSnail can't take corners and I didn't see any comments about bow fronts.
JamesL
The FAQ says it will probably be between $115 - $125. The big draw back is it can not handle corners, and you have to program it to stay 3" above your sand bed. Neat concept though... if I got one, my Roomba's would be jealous
Gonzobob
I wonder if I could rig an algae clip to the in-tank side. Could be hours of entertainment.
JamesL
That's it, make those tangs work for their food!
medi
lol....hopefully it lasts longer than the roomba. My roombas always broke after a few months.
JamesL
lol....hopefully it lasts longer than the roomba. My roombas always broke after a few months. You weren't supposed to put your Roomba's inside the tank top clean the gravel I haven't had issues with the latest generation of Roombas (the previous gen I did have random things fail). That's what I bought mine for and I must say it did a lousy job of keeping the sandbed clean.
Derek
Definitely reminds me of a roomba.

JamesL
I sooo want roomba and scuba lol.... those are soo cool as long as they work lol Love our roomba's (help deal with the dog hair). The scooba is OK (we have one also). Not as nice as the roomba, as it is not automated. You have to fill it, start it, and then empty it after each run. The roombas are on schedules to clean every day while we are at work. Anywho... don't mean to de-rail this thread. Will be interesting to see if the robosnail ever makes it to market.
