It's a bird, it's a plane, it's RoboSnail

The FAQ says it will probably be between $115 - $125. The big draw back is it can not handle corners, and you have to program it to stay 3" above your sand bed.

Neat concept though... if I got one, my Roomba's would be jealous

lol....hopefully it lasts longer than the roomba. My roombas always broke after a few months.

You weren't supposed to put your Roomba's inside the tank top clean the gravel

I haven't had issues with the latest generation of Roombas (the previous gen I did have random things fail).

lol...well why not? That's what I bought mine for and I must say it did a lousy job of keeping the sandbed clean.

I sooo want roomba and scuba lol.... those are soo cool as long as they work lol

Love our roomba's (help deal with the dog hair). The scooba is OK (we have one also). Not as nice as the roomba, as it is not automated. You have to fill it, start it, and then empty it after each run. The roombas are on schedules to clean every day while we are at work.

Anywho... don't mean to de-rail this thread. Will be interesting to see if the robosnail ever makes it to market.
