My tank is 55 gallon dimension of 48 long, 13 wide, and 20 high is this too much?? Gonna switch the HQI bulbs to 14k should i get it?? My tank now has coralife 260w fixture. Need to know today quick before he changes his mind.

NonSequitur
I agree.. I have 2x175 over my 55 and it doesn't seem like too much light, my anemones certainly love sitting on the topmost section of rock and basking in it.
