I have seen the PVC check valves at HD, but I am not sure what the internal components are, mainly is there any metal involved? Does anyone know of any local places to buy a good quality check valve? As far as I'm concerned any plumping design for a saltwater system that needs check valves to stop spillage from happening when power is off is a stupid design.
