Maxima
Would two Hydor Koralia Evolution 1400 gph pumps be too much for a 75 gallon? Right now I have a Koralia 3 and two Koralia 1's right now and it isnt enough flow IMO.
+mcallahan
2800 GPH in a 75 would look like a whirlpool. SPS would like it but everything else would look blown away. Personally, I'd go for 2x #3's or 2x Tunzo Nano streams 6025's modded to get 1100 GPH.
Rjohn
what about 2 of the smaller evolutions, the 850 for example?
+mcallahan
what about 2 of the smaller evolutions, the 850 for example? that'd be good too. I forgot they refreshed their product line.
Maxima
Thanks guys! I looked up the new pumps. I found 750 and 1050, not 850. Should I get one of each instead or two of the 750s?
+mcallahan
One 750, one
Rjohn
Sorry. I was speaking from memory and misquoted the 850. I have 2 1050's in my 75 and it seems just about right. They don't seem to be as quite as strong as the older models, perhaps because they are controllable?

TexasTiger
I have a Koralia 4 and 2 Koralia 3s and I don't think there's enough flow in my 75g. But, I might be crazy. I guess it's all about how you position them and how your rock is set up.
mhart032
id try and run 2 tunze 6025s i have one in my 34g solana and these things rock. i saw 2 in the hardware section. i payed 64.00 from aquatech. i was looking at the evos and Bruce said these were better and worth every penny. and i would need less power heads with these than the Hydors i would have needed 2 of the hydors vs 1 of the 6025s.
