stoneroller
Just installed the ecoxotic Stunner LED strip, 453nm blue, on my 72 bow. Ordered it from the doctor. I only ordered one strip to check it out. Lights up the whole tank and makes every coral glo' bigtime!
Maxima
How did you mount your stunner? I bought one but I am not sure how to set it up with my T5.
+mcallahan
Glad to here there is a stunner local. Would love to come check it out. Is it your only actinic?
absolut_racer
Were you using T5's or VHO's previously? If so, how do you like it in comparison? Do you have any pictures?
+o0zarkawater
Looking forward to pics of this. It would be great if I could install a couple of these, and replace my actinic T5's with some bulbs for growth.
stoneroller
I have a couple of T5s for actinics. The blue from the stunner is for effect, I am not sure you'd be getting any growth out of them. Worth a try though... I just clipped it on the frame of the canopy for now. I may install it under the frame of the MH. I'll get some pics out next week. I figure I'd need 6 to cover my 48" tank and to replace my 2x96W PC's. I'll be interested to see the pics.

+Dena
So where's the photo? I just got the 110W Maxspect G2 LED for my new 30g tank. Going to make it a frag tank...I LOVE LED'S!!!
stoneroller
It'll have to be later in the week as I am going to be busy busy; just getting back to the house tonight. Anyone have tips on capturing the "blue effect"? Doesn't seem like it'll be easy. Seems there are lot of LED ideas being cranked out. Those motorcycle accent LEDs are too cool. I bet a quick email to JoeFlorida and you'd have an answer for all of us on the blue spectrum. Where's the pics Dena?!? lol Those Maxspects are going to be hot!
