Well the time has come and I have been forced to give up my saltwater tank for now. I recently moved into a new house and the landlord does not want fish tanks in the house. She stated that it would cost more to repaire the floor and dry wall if something happend then what she is asking for a pet deposit. So for now I will have to sell my 29 gallon Biocube with custom refugium. I will keep my 120 gallon tank and will set it up in about a year after we buy us a house. The following is a list of items that come with the tank. Sorry in advanced becuase i dont know some of the names for the corals. Im looking to get $800.00 for everything. I have put more then this into the tank. Please respond here if you are interested.

I NEED THIS GONE ASAP. I HAVE TO HAVE EVERYTHING OUT OF THE OLD HOUSE BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK SINCE THE CARPET GUYS ARE COMING IN TO CLEAN. I CAN NOT TAKE THIS TO THE NEW HOUSE. WE HAVE TO BE ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE OLD ONE BY 04/30/10.

TANK:

  • Complete 29 gallon biocbe drilled for refugium (original biocube hood with lights if you would like to put it back to the stock look)
  • custom refugium complete with filter pad, live rock, deep sand bed and macro algae
  • 150W 14K MH light with white and blue moon lights
  • 1 Actinic PC light
  • Seaclone protein skimmer
  • return pump (not sure of the size)
  • (2) Koralia 1 circulation fans

Here are some pictures of the tank and refugium.

Wow, it looks like you put a lot of work into that. I would just sign a contract with your uptight landlord that says if the tank causes over certain amount of damage you will pay for the fix. It would be cheaper for you to take out a insurance policy for your lease term on the small area your tank sits in then take the loss you are going to take selling the tank. :) Seriously man. Also, I have never seen complete setups sell really. People tend to get in at a low price and then get addicted then blow tons of money. :) That being said. This looks like a very good setup if someone wants a turn key solution. Throw some acrylic "flash around that stand and it would be a sharp looking setup.

Well everyone. thanks for all of the interest; however, things have changeed for the better. Although I cant have the tank at the new house i dont have to sell it either. my brother in san antonio offered to hold onto the tank for me so i didnt have to sell it. he has a live rock and fish only tank. ill let you know if anything changes.
