chrisfowler99 Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 I've got a Reef Octopus 150 and the pump for that is the nosiest thing in the tank. When I shut the skimmer off the tank is really quiet. I also find it really hard to keep adjusted. I'd like to find a good, quiet skimmer for my 75g I've heard the SWC Xtreme 160 is very quiet and a good skimmer, but there aren't many sources to buy it. The Precision Marine Redline 150 that I am running on my 40g is just taking up too much space in the limited sump space that I have.
