absolut_racer Posted March 10, 2010 Share Posted March 10, 2010 I am moving my RO/DI Unit to the garage, but the hardware that came with the unit only came with the items to install it under the sink or permanently to a pvc pipe. My thoughts were to use a y-splitter with a hose bib connected to the cold water line of my washer. Y-splitters come in brass and zinc. Will one of these materials be a better choice over the other? Also, I went to the hardware store with no luck on finding the correct adapter to go from a hose thread to 1/4" tubing. Has anyone seen this adapter in town or online?
