New snails question...

Hi,

Picked up about a dozen snails yesterday for my tank.

They seemed to be ok last night, but most of them have spent the day hanging out at the very top of the tank right at the water line. Is that normal, are they just getting acclimated to the tank?

All of my parameters are good. I took a water sample into Shane at Fishy Business yesterday and he checked everything for me.

Should be fine. Mine do that as well, even when they have been in the tank for a long while.

Thanks, everyone seems happy so far.

We also got a clown fish yesterday. He(?) has been flying all over the tank checking everything out. Seems to be having fun. My daughter has been having a lot of fun just watching him.

What kind of clown did you get? What kind of snails?

My ceriths like to crawl over my glass but rarely venture out of the waterline. My Astrae, on the other hand, venture all the way to the top of my tank and like to hang upside down on the top. It's a little precarious, considering they can't right themselves up if they happen to fall off... :)
