  1. Hello,

I am having an out of control aiptasia problem. I introduce one to my tank a long time ago when I purchased a 30 lb rock from a member here. I did not notice it until a few months after the rock was already established in my tank. It started off small so I did not think anything of it. It never really grew until I started mixing some brine shrimp and oyster eggs into my fish's food mixture. After that it started getting a little big so I decided to siphon it, bad mistake! It seems that I have super spread it and now I am so frustrated that I am about to kill everything and shut my tank down completely. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of getting some of the Berghia but the last time I bought some (a few years ago) they seemed to have immediately die off and spent $75 for nothing. They seem hard to acclimate and I do not have patience. Any info on a solution would be great before I boil everything except for the fish which may go up here pretty soon.... Thanks, any solutions, recommendations, or even nudibranchs or products that you may want to sell, I would be more than glad to try. I just don't want to pay high dollar for a couple of trio packs with excessive shipping cost if someone may have a better and less expensive solution....Thanks for any response

  2. $15 for these few polyps

there are about 4 jokers a couple of orange skirts with light green centers a shroom and maybe one or two green dragon eyes. There is also a small green shroom. I was cleaning out my tank after installing a new pump and these were either loose or floating around when I was cleaning. If you want them $15 for the lot. They are not currently on a rock or anything and I am not done with the tank so if you call anytime soon, they may not be on a rock yet. 512-388-1072 Edgar. I am in round rock off of 79 and sunrise....

  4. Hello,

I decided to change out my external pump today since it is thanksgiving and am off of work.... Bad News for me. All the Live Fish Stores are closed today. I accidentally broke my Bulk head and the replacement peice that I thought I had is smaller than the broken one. My tanks is out circulation at the moment and would really like some help. If any one has one of these peices lying around and see this posting today, please call me. I am willing to pick it up. Let me know what you would like for it. I am not sure what size is it but if I were to guess, I think it is a 1 inch. Let me know, my number is 512-388-1072 Edgar.

Here is a picture of the broken one so that you know which peice I need.....

  5. Hello I need one of the pumps. My return pump is going out and I do not want any of my coral to die on me or water all over the place. My pump has began to slowly leak and I keep cleaning the water... I would like the PanWorld 100PX-X rated for 1270 gph for $50 if you still have it. According to your experience with the pump. Do you think this would work good on a 90 gallon tank?

  6. looking to trade a reddish pink pencil urchin. Maybe for a couple of peppermints or a polyp or two. He is cool but he is a bit big for my tank. It is approximately 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 inches. My batteries are out so it may take a me a couple of days to post some up. I would like him out while I can see him... Send me a picture of what you may have. I do have quite a few different type of polys so please send a picture. Not to be picky but not looking for anything I have.... Thanks.. 388-1072 Edgar...

  8. I purchased this from another ARC member a few months ago with the intent to start up a frag tank. That venture has still not been realized. Now it is up for the same price I paid. Although, I was told that this was a 30G, I think it may be closer to a 40. Not sure but I am selling it for the price I paid $30. It's a little dusty from storage. If you are interested, give me a call 512-388-1072 Edgar. I am not holding this, If you are interested, come and pick it up.

    Thanks

  9. I was rearranging my tank the other day and ended up pulling a couple of polyps and breaking some small tips off of my birds nest trying to remove and chase some bubble algae. These aren't much but any gas money is good now a days. Give me a call if you are going to pick them up. I will not hold them. 388-1072 Edgar in Round Rock.

    1) small disk with 3 eyes of rah, 1 nuclear green, 3 other cool looking polyps (not sure what these are but they are similar to magicians but I don't think that's what they are), and a small tip of birds nest - $15

    2) small rock with a few tips of green birds nest glued on it- $5

I will post a picture up later after I charge my batteries...

Please call the 388-1072. My mobile is discharged and the charger is at work :(

  11. I bought this 250W metal Halide set up a few months ago to try and set up a new frag tank but the aquarium that I was going to use with this now has a small chameleon that I bought for the kids. I now have this stored and am not going to use it. It will need one of the 65W PC bulbs and a ballast for the 250W since I used the ballast that came with this on my other thank to add more lighting. If you are interested, it is only the set up that you see, no hanging fixtures or legs. The 250W bulb that is in it, one of the 65W actinics, and the two moon lights that you may be able to see work. This would just need the ballast for the 250 and one bulb but I would recommend replacing both. $100 Please call if you want it. Since I will not be checking PMs.... 512-388-1072 Edgar
