The color of the Phoenix Is very nice. its a very good mixture. if you have ever been to Aquatek their main tank they have has the Phoenix 14K DE

man that would be a pain, just think 1oz of to much of something could kill everything.. ugh!

Its from the 10k bulb, i had a MH retro that had a 10k and it was very yellow, made everything looked washed out. i didnt like it.. i would have to say the 14ks seem to be the best for a better mixture of blue and white light.. IMO

Im upgrading to a 90g so the 42 has to go.. its a oceanic stretch hex 42g this is a really nice tank. i payed 275.00 for it alittle over 3 months ago and im to sell it for 140.00 for the tank..

i sent a pm about the tank. im a go for it!

it wont go bigger =\ thats the size that i have.. ill re produce it tomorrow in draft pro and photoshop. and make a new one. if i make it bigger it get very blurry..

I have a stretch Hex so mine was kinda easy. i point 2 korilias towards the front hex glass on eaither side and i get good flow. they are powerfull so i also have them at the top of the tank pointing up just a bit to aireate the water too. so some hits the glass and some hits the water to make good current and aireates then because of my rock i have so much and its so tall i have my return from my sump pointed down the back glass with the squair nosel on it the spreads the water over the back behind the rocks. it works very well for me.. but ill try tomorrow and post it..

Heres a flow diagram that you can use as a guide. i have a 42g and i use 2 korilia 3s and a rio 1100 for flow

yea, cause he eats shrimp in the wild so id be worried about it. i dont want to take any chances i dont want him getting a taste for live food and endup missing fish lol

I have the Kenyas on the other side but its a 42g hex stretch so its not very wide. im running carbon like suggested..

Just an update no changes really its not getting any worse. the lights are on and it has good extention on the polyps when it turned white their is nothing. just black spots. should i frag this coral just incase it doesnt make it? then atleast i have a good frag?

Thats what i thought mite be happening. i read about it well what i could find about it. i have an orange cap thats doing fine and a small peice of acro that doing good, it just seems to be the Birdsnest and a small peice of purple cap that seem to be effected right now. it doesnt look as though its got any worse. now i understand birdsnest is a very finiky coral anyway and my calcium was a bit low. ill keep and eye on it see if it starts to get any worse. if it does out it goes. thanks for the reply caferacermike.. if you know where i can read more info on this, any help would be great. thanks again

Is the wave master and the pumps still available? i mite need these items..

I just got some kenyas yesterday, and everything was good lastnight, this evening i noticed my Birdsnest looseing color turning white on 30% of it, it looked good yesterday. could the new Kenyas killing the sps coral? it has good flow and great light right at the top. everything else it doing great chem levels are good temp is at 80.

ill take the frogspawn and the alien chalice and the green digi.and ill let you know about the tank by the 2nd. after i pay bills =X
