...t my clarki clowns are only 6 - 8 months old and the female just laid her first batch of eggs. Maybe the vodka makes em horney.
Or maybe it just loosened her up
or maybe the male clown slipped her some roofies

All of the species I mentioned are said to be extremely difficult to take care of. Even experts have trouble caring for them.
hence the search for a bubble-tip
-
A. Percula are more suited to the following anemones: Heteractis crispa; H. magnifica; Stichodactyla gigantea.
However, a BTA might suffice as a surrogate host.
Yeah I know...I have been looking for a "giant carpet" a "magnificent" and a "merten's carpet" with little luck...and have had some luck with them hosting in bubble-tips before

How big are the clowns?
I have a set of tiny (barely over 1") true percula clowns
and a set of 2" black ocellaris clowns
-
Depending on the clowns you have and their size, my GBTA just split yesterday and it could work.
I have a pair of True percs
and a pair of Black ocellaris (or however it is spelled)
And yes a BTA should be perfect...edited the main post to reflect this

I tell you what, if you let me buy it (assuming he responds to either of us), I'll give you the tank and half the sand. Would you be interested in that deal?

Thanks for the heads up. I just sent the guy an email telling him I wanted it if its still available. That would be perfect, since it not only has the macro algae, but is already established with pods and all the other stuff. I would just use it to seed the one I'm trying to get set up, as it will be about 20 - 25 gallons.

good luck with that...I emailed him 4 hours ago....no reply ....I just wanted the tank and the sand bed

I have a set of tiny (barely over 1") true percula clowns

DIY is the obvious cheaper route...and more rewarding in the long run
Do it Yourself is also more flexible then getting a "ready made" RR tank. you can really get more of "the tank you really want" when you make/modify it yourself.
(p.s. - look for pictures of that little stretch hex acrylic tank on ARC soon )

I'll volunteer my place as a central location - 183 and Lamar area.
I second this!...(just saying that cause I live so far north that Manor is a journey!)

Welcome. I have some fish orders for you when you get up and runnin.
i am sure you will

I am new as a user here on ARC but I have been around for a while (lurking). Some of you know me as "Capt.'s Wife". and even a few of you have been gracious enough to let me and my family gawk at your tanks. others my husband has only told me about but I look forward to meeting you all in time. And picking your brains when ever I am puzzled by something. I am also about to start a breeder tank so I am sure I will have questions about that. Besides ARC needs more women

from what I have read...no
get an emerald crab ...or 2...or 3...depends on tank size and how bad your problem is.
