  1. Sorry to hear andrew. I would host them, but my tank has been up for only 3 days now, and i would hate to have a swing in nitrate on them. I think they would be fine, but if someone with a longer running tank offers, go for it. I mean, my Lr and everything else is established, maybe i am just being paranoid. Only thing in the 55gl is a blue chromis and an anemone shrimp :D

  2. looking to light a 55gl, so 48" but prefer retrofit. looking for 2 mh with 150wt or higher. the condition of a fixture does not matter because unless it is super nice like one in a box i was eyeballing, i will just be gutting it and using it in a canopy.

  3. I have been working on a 2.5 pico, all in one. I built a false end with fuge, LR and a return( whopping n 70gph :D). Lighting is a 24wt 50/50 compact florescent. Thanks to Sarah for the help getting it going. I have been out of the hobby for a while, and could not wait for the rest of the stand/hood to be finished before getting it going.

  4. I have built a 2.5gl with filtration, and need a few things to start my cycle.

I got out of the hobby a while ago, so i do not have all the things i used to. I am in need of: a small amount of rock/rubble, about 2 cups or so. live sand(also about 2 cups) about 1 cup of macro(any fuge quality macro will do). and salt/saltwater if anyone can help me out let me know what you would want in return.

  5. Ok, As those of you who know us, we had to get out of the hobby do to a move to an upstairs apt. Well, we can not resist the call of the sea any longer, and i am piecing together a 10gl or smaller tank, so I look forward to seeing some of you again, or meeting some of you as i haggle for your equipment/livestock :D

  6. Mama, I am a senior fraud prevention specialist for a Major corporation. I spend all day analyzing and preventing internet fraud. If you have any questions on the subject, I can talk your ears off  That being said, trust yourself. If any question/statement seems out of place or makes you question the validity, it is fraud. Another big sign is odd punctuation/spelling/grammar. Look for simple common words which are misspelled, as in little reef's example " we are located in German,we will offer the totally different service with the chinese guy,we efficient, fast and we quality". Most of the major fraud rings operate from West Africa, Russia and Vietnam. I have seen some very cunning methods used. I would say I hate fraudsters, but without them, I would not have a job. If ANYONE has questions on the subject, feel free to ask.
