Hi all,
I've got a LOT of rotifers that need to be thinned out. This will be a continuous thread. If you are looking for a starter culture, this is a good one. These are all L-Strain rotifers from Reed Mariculture. A starter bag will come with at LEAST 1 million.
For those of you who don't know what rotifers are:
Rotifers are small organisms that are commonly used for feeding picky species of fish. Many, including myself, even dose my tank with them and let the corals partake. I've found that this stimulates growth and overall happiness from my corals. It isn't hard to get a culture going. Just feed phytoplankton once a day (every other day depending on your harvest rate). They can be kept with an air line in a 5g bucket and reproduce rapidly. 1 million can go to 20 million in a few days time.
$10/bag or trade for corals.
PM is key. First come first served, as they become available.

Also, trades for equipment + cash are always welcomed, too! Not in a hurry to sell this.

Hi all!
Selling my iPad, as I just bought a new Mac Air, and don't need the iPad any longer. It is lightly used, and has a couple of scratches on the back of the device (the aluminum side). They are minor, and normal ware-and-tear. I am also including a leather smart-case.
Asking $500, and always willing to take reasonable offers.

All buyers ended up falling thru, and I got busy with work. Now I've got it and just cleaned it and its ready to go.

Lets hope those demons do! Ha!

I've always fed 3-4 times daily. Fishies love it. Water hates it. So... Weekly water chargens are an absolute must.

If you have 2 clowns, see if they're fighting. A lot of times the loser will try to escape via carpet surfing. If this is the case, I'd look into getting a top for the tank

You should be fine moving a great deal to the sump. This is not an uncommon thing at all. I have always put LR in my sumps. If the tank has only been up for two weeks, I wouldn't worry much about stirring anything up moving the rock.
Live rock is a form of filtration. The more, the merrier. Just don't over crowd it and have too much, that might cause detritus and nastiness to get caught up underneath there.

Ooh la la! That might be a fun adventure!

Hi all,
Was looking to see if someone has, or can make a larger breeder set up. Something longer, narrower and shallower, with separate compartments. Like what you see at LFS to put livestock in. Drilled preferably. Glass or acrylic, whatever is fine!
If anyone is interested and can make this, if nobody has one for sale.
Pic for reference:

Dwarves are a good option! They will require multiple feedings daily of newly hatched baby brine shrimp. Any other seahorse is going to be too large for that size tank

Woods,
If you read this, please clear your inbox! Can't send you a pm

Great looking tank!
What kind of seahorses are you planning on adding?
[FS] REDUCED Designer Clowns
in Livestock
Posted
Hi everyone,
I am wanting to gauge some interest in these designer clowns. I bought a lot in a group order to take my cherry pick of the batch for my broodstock project, and will be selling the others that don't meet the criteria of what I'm looking for.
If you check around, the prices on these are ridiculous even for small (<1.25") specimens, typically about $50 or $60 more.
Prices/Pictures are as followed (PICTURES ARE IN ORDER):
LARGE (1.75"+) Phantoms: $120
LARGE (1.75"+) Platinums: $110
