  1. I need to play with the video on my phone a bit more. That was pretty **** good quality. And a cool video. But...um...was it upside down for anyone else, or is it just my stupid player?
  2. They'd probably counter with PETA arguing about caged animals.
  3. Casa Mechanical did the original install on ours and has been good with maintenance. My parents have one installed by Strand Brothers. It went out Friday morning. They're hopefully going to be there today to fix it. They originally said Wednesday. I think my dad should have stressed that they're both in their 60s and he has a pace maker. They probably would have come out faster.
  4. If you still have one tomorrow let me know. I cannot get down there today, but I will come down tomorrow if you have one more to get rid of.
  5. Vortech MP40 - $319.99 crap...what time do I need to get there?
  6. Man I wanna grab one of these, but I think that my goby would just bury them.

    RR tank

I know it's a 72" tank, RR with, I believe, dual corner overflows. Dunno what he's asking.

    RR tank

225? Finally found a deal I see... BTW, your tank size is *HUGE* "Tank Size: 30,135,215"
  9. I assume you mean '08...otherwise one of us is living in the wrong time frame... I wish I'd have picked a tank with less scratches. And maybe a 90g instead of a 75g.
  10. I feed via a turkey baster. The fish come out of everywhere when that thing enters the water. I picked up a Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse the other day that hid for 30 seconds, then came out for a few hours, then hid for two days. It came out a little for food the first day. The second day it came all the way out, but went back into hiding when the pumps came back on. The third day it was already mostly out when I fed, ate right out of the end of the turkey baster and has stayed out since.
  11. I was getting a bit paranoid when I was floating the bag...it wasn't lighting up like it was at the store. Once I dropped it in the tank it lit up nicely. And hid for approximately 30 seconds.
  12. I've had an eggcrate cover from day one out of general paranoia.
  13. Picked one up today from the Aquadome. Was looking between a few wrasses they had and a Yellow Tang. This was my favorite. Plus...it has "pink" and "fairy" in the name...how can my daughter not love it.
  14. This week's project, including the 4th, is cleaning the house, which I've been ignoring in favor of the tank.
  15. I work 5 minutes from RCA and 10 minutes from Aquatek. I'm at those all the time. I've been wanting to make a visit to Aquadome. And my daughter would love to see all the fish. I'm off right now, so it sounds like a good time for a trip south.
  16. I think my daughter and I may make the long trek to the Aquadome tomorrow...
  17. Wish I could, but that's not an easy option.
  18. Giving a trading a fish back and a 5 year-old daughter are not two things that go together.
  19. I'm inclined to agree on the Hippo Tang...I see a 70g minimum...I'm probably too small for that. Not sure what you mean by "feed a lot" for anthias.
  20. Was thinking about a Hippo or Regal Tang. Wrasse is another idea. Not huge on Chromis.
  21. I've got four fish in my 75g at the moment. Two clowns, a fire angel and a diamond goby. The clowns don't move around much. One has hosted with my GBTA, so it stays pretty much in that area. The other wanders a bit, but, for the most part, confines itself either to near the other clown or to the completely opposite side of the tank. The diamond goby ranges the tank, but is, obviously, on the sand the whole time. The fire angel is the most active of my fish, but it spends it's time moving slowly in and out of the rocks, low in the tank. Are there any options that will spend more of their time higher in the tank, above the rocks and be more active swimmers, while still being comfortable in a 75g tank?
  22. I was thinking about a hippo tang or regal tang...a little paranoid of the fish store ones after your comment. Also a little paranoid about putting one in a 75g tank.
