  1. I know that the price is a great deal but not sure I can do that amount since money has been supper tight with this whole ne home buying and down payment we had to come up with. Thanks for the offer to go lower though.
  2. Will you take $25 for the Seio controller Blows? Also what is the light controller? Also will you take $60 total for the seio pumps?
  3. Would you be willing to hold the 6 head one for me until next month when I get my tank back?
  4. Great to hear. I'll contact you once I get my tank back and for sure when I set up the 120. I want different kinds of zoas. I want to make an island stack of rocks in the tank just for the zoas
  5. Hey just wondering if you always have frags like this? I love the look of the corals and frags but can't get any right now. Just checking for when I get my tank back next month
  6. Thank you to all of you who have suggested different ways you use quarantine tanks. Everyone has their own ways of doing things and not all of us will agree on every way. For me, I will be using a seperate tank for the quarantine tank becuase i dont want anything to go wrong. thanks again to everyone that responded and please give more feed back if you have any.
  7. I think if I don't use the 29 gallon for a sea horse tank I'll use it for my quarantine tank. It has a refugium and everything already. Do you think this is a good idea? I can still use it as a display tank but as a quarantine tank as well so if something happens it won't take a lot to fix.
  8. Well I was thinking about how many people really use them and wanted to ask how many people here have one. How do you set them up? Are they like a full salt water setup with skimmer etc.? If you have one can you share a picture of it. I'm trying to get some ideas for one.
  9. Are you going to be getting more later to sell? Once I switch over to me 120 tank I am thinking of setting up seahorses in the 29 gallon biocube for the wife.
  10. So the rock mags are in your 400 gallon? That's cool. Can't wait to get my 120 up and running.
  11. Well it's very nice. I saw your 400 gallon one but didn't know that you had others as well. I thought you combined them all together.
  12. The tank looks very nice. Is this your home tank?
  13. Take a look at the video posted in the other post titled portland cement if you don't mind and give me your opinion. Thanks
  14. Did you watch the YouTube video I posted? What do you think about the out come of his rocks?
  15. Good to know. I'll add more flow once I get my tank back. Thanks for your help.
  16. I will have to take pictures of the ones that I have if I can still find any. I think they are the same one that you had. So all you did was change/add more flow and use your skimmer?
  17. Are you going to dip your rocks as well? I know I keep asking this but I want to make sure that when I get ready to dip I don't make a mistake and kill the rock or something.
  18. Cool. I'm going to give it a try. I'll post some pics once I do so people and chime in with their opinions before I add them to the tank. Thanks again for your responses.
  19. Regarding your first paragraph, after I dip everything will it be ok to put the rocks straight back into the tank along with fish and corals? I've never used the dip before and wan to make sure it's not going to be soaked up by the rocks then release to much back into the tank
  20. Thanks for the information. Did you have to cycle them before you added them to your tank or where they already done for you. Also have you ever made any yourself?
  21. I saw that rock build but I was thinking more on the lines of this YouTube video. I wasn't sure how good this type of homemade rock was for your tank. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?xl=xl_blazer&v=zFPebEdEoMA
  22. So once I move into my new house, I will be getting my 29 gallon tank back from my brother. I have treated some of the corals for flat worms before but never the whole tank. I figured this would be the best time to do this. I know to dip all corals before putting them in my tank but i didnt do this before. I was going to do this during the move before adding the corals back into the tank. What should I do regarding the rock? Should I dip them also? If not, what is good to add to the tank that won't hurt the fish and corals? Thanks for your time
  23. I'm going to say 2/14/12. I think he will be back sooner then he thinks. It's hard to leave this hobby after getting involved.
  24. Not trying to take anything away from the other post regarding making your own live rock but had some questions. This might seem stupid but how many people on here make their own rock? It seems kind of easy and cheaper then buying all reef dead or live rock. I'm going to be setting up my 120 gallon soon (I hope) and would consider doing this. Maybe a 50/50 of real rock and home made rock like this. I haven't seen anyones tank that make their own rock. How many of you make your own rock and how has it worked out for you. Also, would you considered sharing some pictures of you tank showing the homemade rock. Thanks for reading and happy reefing.
