Well I have a coral dip that I use. I bought it when I dipped some zoas that I bought. Just wasnt sure about the Xenia, GSP. Thanks for the input.

Should soft corals be dipped before placing them in your tank? I never remember what needs to be dipped and what doesn't.
Corals like GSP, Xenia, leathers

Hello everyone. I'm in Austin today for about 3 hours waiting for my wife to finish class. I wanted to buy some corals while I am here since I never get a chance to come this way. I'm looking for frags to put in my 90 gallon tank. Let me know what you have and where you are located. I'm by UT now and would like to meet in the area somewhere if possible. Thanks for looking.

Is there a way to repair scratches on a glass tank? I have some on the inside of my 90 gallon.

I have a good sized ball of cheato in my refugium. When I move it around I notice that some stuff gets knocked off of it and floats into the water. Not sure what it is that comes off. I also see what looks like sponge growing in it. Is there a need to rinse the cheato in a bucket of salt water or should I just leave it alone?

Would anyone who has a UV sterilizer be willing to trade?

Cutting it in the tank is what I was planning to do. Not only to reduce the stress but becuase its attached to a rock that I cant take out. I just wanted to get some opinions before I did this. I also use the toothpick method. I found that the net method just collected algae. A lot of my kenya tree frags that just pop off float to the left back side of the tank and attach to the sand which makes them easy to get out. I might try making a basket to put in that area with some rubble rock in it since its a low flow area in the tank. Thanks for all of the help with this. The frags will be cut this weekend and thanks to the members that are already waiting I will have enough money to get my sea horse its new tank that I been waiting to get.

Same for me. I have 8 T5 HO on my 90 gallon and I keep the room temp at 73 or 74 and the tank temp is at 78 or 79. i also have 4 circulation fans in the tank as well.

I might be up in Austin sometime. I'll make a frag for you and hold onto it.

$15 for an inch frag. Trying to get the money to buy a this tank I found for my see horse. Really cheap with stand and everything. PM me and let me know if you want a frag or more. I'm making some this weekend already for another member.

Do I just cut this with a razor blade?

Price reduced to $15 for a one inch frag.

Thanks for the reminder. Will it be safe to frag these in the tank if they give off toxin?

I could trade for some other polyps or zoas. I'll have close to about 20 polyps maybe more if I pull all them off without destroying any. Would be interested in other corals as well. PM me if your interested.

How do I remove polyps from my live rock? Do I scrape them off, cut? Do I need to take the rock out of the tank to do this? My fairy dust polyps are growing like crazy and spreading to other rocks that I don't want them on.
