Does anybody have a used tunze nano wavebox? im looking at prices, and not neccisarily buying right now, but will in the near future. hopefully

I know alot of people like MH because of the shimmer it gives off. Most MH are paired with PC actinics. The downside to MH is that they give off alot of heat, and you have to get a chiller usually.

T5 give off a high output, without the heat, but i dont know much else.

it would basically be a mini refugium. The light doesnt need to be anything high tech, a regular lightbulb works fine. maybe even something smaller(?)

its cool to get chaeto with pods(little swimmy animals), cause theyll get sucked into the tank, and the fish love to chase and snack on them

Zenia will remove nitrates, but if you really want to make a dent on nitrates and phosphates and all the other nasties, look up how to mod your nano cube to put different types of macroalgae in the back filtration.

I just bought an emerald today. As soon as he went out of the bag, my tomatoe clown picked him up and carried him around. Then he got pinched. Unfortunatley, the cran went into the den of my pistol shrimp and goby, and the crab nor shrimp have been seen since.

Its worth a bit more, withe the whole thing next to new, including bulbs which were only used for about a month

hmm... I am pretty impressionable right now... well because I know nothing. So Overflow, fug and then return? So all the water would go to overflow then then fug and then return? No % of water would bypass overflow/skimmer?

Also is there any reason why most every tank I have seen runs the solid PVC pipe? I was thinking about running the flexible pipe... is there a negative to this?

It just seems that the solid PVC is so permanent, and it would be harder to rearrange if need be.

I dont get this either. is there any reason pvc is better?
