I bought my tank from a longhorn? Shun...
You ought to check out mcallahan's video on bacteria though.

What brand biopellets?
-
Today, while mindlessly bussing tables at my job, a thought came to mind. After long periods of time, has anyone ever noticed an inflation of corals in the area, leading to a price drop? Just a random thought.
-
His box is full. But that sounds like a good idea.
-
One last question, then I'm done, promise.
Where/who to order from for a Sol and Apex Jr? Who has the best deals, etc?
-
Now do you have to order the separate dimming accessory for it? Or is it automatically programmed in?
-
Well, I'm ordering the lights and controllers now, looking for the best deal online.
Then, tonight, I'm picking up the solana.
Hypothetically, could I hook up a small grade water pump from a storage unit to my tank, and after hooking it up to the apex, use it as a auto top off?
-
With the risk of sounding dumb, yet again, the apex takes away the need for the sol controller, correct?
-
Nice. Do ya'll have the full Apex? Well, guess so, since the other's not out yet...
I can't wait to get this all set and running, but am making myself wait, so I can plan it all out right.
But the apex is definitely worth it? Or wait for jr to come about?
-
Gotcha. Any risk of burning everything with a full Sol? I mean, I know there always is, but is it a better option?
-
Well, scratch that. I might go wait and go for the nano sol. Not to expensive, and if I'm judging it right, that should support any corals in a 34? Just if any could verify.
-
I recently found this site with very good reviews on the subject. http://americanaquariumproducts.com/LEDLights.html
I'm pretty certain on this brand, just not sure of what model or light to get over a 34 solana.
-
Those look awesome. However, I'm a bit new when it comes to DIY projects, and would rather take a sound investment on a fixture.
-
Softies, lps, sps, maybe a clam. The most focus though on the lps, and only lower to mid range sps
-
I've been doing a lot of research, but need help deciding. I'm definitely down for LED's, but need a fixture for a 34 gallon solana. Thoughts? Ideas?

I have a standard mag 7 pump I bought from a user on here. Not sure of the make, works perfectly though.

I'm selling two rigs
48" 2 Bulb Glo T5:

Bulbs only used for 2 months
48" 8 Bulb Current USA T5:
http://www.current-u...va-extreme-pro/
That's a similar rig, they no longer make the 8 bulb. Single reflector, bulbs semi-used. One fan is gone, no problems with over heating though. Replaceable part through mail
Let me know on offers, will meet at River City.

I'm starting to get the itch to come back to the world of reefing. I want to do it better this time, and have done a ton of research before hand. My current plan is either a cardiff or solana, not sure which, with led lighting. Ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Hey, so I have two pretty nice light rights for trade

I'm looking to trade for an all-in-one cube. Something maybe custom, not necessarily the run of the mill bio-cube. I'll look at offers for the rigs too.
-
I'll buy the setup, minus everything in it, for a reasonable offer.

Can you post a few pics of it?
