So I have a chemistry final today and I am stuck on one of my review problems and the prof. doesn't want to help me set this up to get the correct answer, I believe because a similar problem will be on the exam. Anyway if anybody is a chem major/teacher/enthusiast/just knows some chemistry can you help me out? Here is the problem that has kept me awake the past few nights (and for once its not the fault of my tank!): A 100.g iron ball(specific Heat = 0.473 J/g*C) is heated to 125*C and is placed in a calorimeter holding 200 g of water at 25*C. What will be the highest temperature reached by the water? (* = Degrees symbol) thanks in advance for the help

Crushed coral in these pics, but started adding reef grade sand. It's about 5 Lbs of crushed coral, and 5 Lbs sand so far.

I am Running GLO T5 HO. I have 2 fixtures. both are 2x39W. I have 3 - 10K bulbs and 1 actinic. About 30Lbs of LR and 10 pounds of Sand. For Flow I have 1 Koralia #2 and a Subcurrent by Current USA. Other than that not much else to it.

Hello all! I have just moved to Georgetown from San Antonio. I thought I would say hello as I have been lurking for a little while. I have been addicted to this hobby for about 2 years now, and feel like I'm still learning new things everyday. I am fixing to tear down a 40 breeder in SA and move my livestock up to Georgetown and downsize into a 20 Long. In fact will be setting up the 20L tomorrow.
