  1. Found what I was looking for. Thanks for the interest.
  2. Posted this on MAAST as well, but in case others were wondering: http://www.zoaid.com/index.php?module=Gall...;g2_itemId=2976 There are a few pictures on there. They are fairly big polyps.
  3. Hey guys/gals. I have an orange yuma for trade and I am looking for nuclear green palys. The yuma is just a baby (slightly bigger than 1/2") that was laid by the mother a few weeks ago. Here are a few pictures of the mother: I'm looking for the real deal Nuclear Green Palys. Any interest? -- Mark edit: All those pictures were taken under the 250 watt 20K AB bulb I was using at the time.
  4. Yours was actually one of the tanks that I really liked this on. Did you have the steel part powder-coated? Does anybody know people in Austin who do this type of thing?
  5. I notice when looking at the big tank forum on RC that a lot of the tank stands are made from steel tubing and skinned in wood. I'm thinking about setting up a new tank (roughly 80 gallons). Are these style stands quite a bit more expensive than just a solid wood stand? I like the idea of using a steel stand and attaching the wood with magnets or something along those lines so I can remove the entire wood skin for full access under the tank. Any thoughts on this? any idea of potential costs for doing this on an 80 gallon tank?
  6. Looks great. I love the dimensions of the tank. I have also made the trek from Florida to Austin, but I decided to sell/give away everything before moving and starting from scratch once I got here.
  7. Any interest in a trade? I have a solid orage-ish colored Yuma that just laid a baby (only about 1/2" big now) I am intereste in the Red Chalice. Here is a picture of the mother:
  8. I have an extra eheim 1262 (900 gph) that is for sale. Its never been used other than to put it in my tub to see if it worked. These sell for $130 plus shipping at marine depot and more at local stores. I am looking to sell it for $120. Brand Spankin' New. EDIT: I forgot to mention this in the description, but when the pump was shipped to me, the back cover was broken. Its just the cosmetic cover, and I called eheim to see if there would be any problem running it without the cover and they said none at all. The cover wasn't the waterproof part. Anyway, I was going to replace it with another pump I have, but I can't get it off the other pump, so I guess it has to go as is.
  9. I almost bought the one from aquatek, but decided against it. I wanted to wait a bit after losing my blue spot jawfish. They are great looking fish.
  10. Your best bet is to ask Roger over at the Tunze forum on reefcentral. Try: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdis...p?s=&forumid=92 I think Roger lives here in Austin, and he is the Tunze distributor for the US.
  11. any updates on this project?
  12. sorry, forgot to say it, but PM me for my phone number if you need to borrow a pump.
  13. Was it your only source of water flow? If so, I would suggest getting something else in there ASAP. If you don't have anything lying around, I have a pump you can borrow. Its not a powerhead, but it will move water to keep the water oxygenated. What is the tank setup like? Reef tank, Fish only, etc?
  14. I got a chance to stop by there before I moved away from Florida. Absolutely stunning display tanks. I am going to have keep an eye out for a re-run of this.
  15. I have the 600 on my 30 cube. The only reason I went with it over the 300 is because I found one used for only 2 months at a pretty good price. I have had it running for a few weeks now and am getting good skimmate out of it considering my low bioload. Let me know if you ever want to come by and check it out. I had problems with microbubbles for the first few weeks, so I turned it off for a few days. I turned it back on yesterday, and its almost microbubble free.
  16. Did you have any microbubble problems with yours? I am still getting a lot of microbubbles out of mine. I was told on reefcentral that it was due to my tank being young (roughly 3 months old I guess). I turned it off, and plan to leave it off for a bit to let the tank mature a little more...otherwise my aquarium is more of a snow globe.
  17. so if we can't make the meeting, I'm assuming somebody will post the winner of the raffle.
  18. Wish I could go, but it looks like I have to miss another one. I have a final on Saturday morning, and another one the following tuesday. Have Fun.
  19. thanks. I contacted him on MAAST and it looks like I may be able to work something out in the next few weeks.
  20. I know this is probably a long shot, but does anybody have any of the real Blane Pernum PPE's they wouldn't mind selling? Even one polyp would be great. Let me know Thanks, Mark
  21. Clint, thanks for the website, can you let me know what retailer you went through to buy the tank? Thanks.
  22. So the raffle is going to be at the next meeting?
