  1. Thank you to all who showed interest. The rock was sold to the first person who replied.

Several people emailed me about the clowns in the pictures. I am keeping those guys, but if you are interested in buying some of your own, I bought mine from Doni at Doni's Reef (link below):

    http://www.donisreef.com/

I originally bought a pair of Grade A picassos from her. Back when I bought them, she was putting up videos of every fish she was selling, but since then I think she has started selling too many to continue that practice. One of the clowns that I bought from Doni jumped, so I unfortunately lost one. Instead of buying another $125 fish, and because I wanted something a little different, I replaced the lost one with an Onyx clown from Premium Aquatics (one of the Rod's Reef percula onyx that premium aquatics used to sell...not sure if they still do or not). So, the larger one with more white is the grade A picasso from Doni and the small guy that is an onyx from premium aquatic.

  2. I'll be moving to Dallas soon, so I'm having to get rid of some of the fish tank stuff. Up for sale is the main rock in my nano. Based on my guestimate, the rock below is about 12" x 6". On the rock, there is a mixture of Tubs Blues, Darth mauls, Nuclear Greens, blue w/ yellow center, orange/blue zoanthids and a few heads of a blasto. I'm looking to sell for $250. I am not going to break the rock up to sell individual pieces.

    Thanks for looking,

  3. I have two Oscellaris clowns up for grabs. One is a misbar, the other is your run-in-the-mill oscellaris clown. I've had these guys for about 2 years, so I'd like to see them go to a good home. I'm moving to Dallas, so looking to put them in a new home soon. I tore down the tank they were in, so they are currently in a temparary rubbermaid home. Unfortunately I won't be able to get pictures while they are in there.

Shoot me a PM or respond here if interested.

  4. I've had this skimmer for about 2 1/2 years, previous owner had it for 4 months, I believe.

Anyway, the reason I'm selling is because I just don't pull a ton of skimmate out of my tank. I don't know if it's due to my sloth or if I don't have a ton in my tank to pull out, but I just don't think I need one on my tank.

So, I'll get pictures of it up here soon. I'm asking $350.

I live in Pflugerville, work in Austin, so I can meet anywhere within a reasonable distance.

Any interest in a trade for the garf bonsai? I can trade you some combination of a 1" x 2" frag of idaho grape, 3 or so polyp frag of nuclear green palys, or 2 polyp frag of darth maul zoanthids, or a few polyps of the zoas below:

I can send pictures of any of them if you need.

  6. Hey guys/gals. I thought I would check to see if anybody local has any of the frags mentioned in the title. I'm looking for a frag of oregon blue tort, garf bonsai, and pink lemonade.

Willing to pay cash or offer up a few frags as partial payment (idaho grape, nuclear green zoanthids, amongst a few others).

    Thanks,

    Mark

  7. Hey Starfire,

I probably didn't word it very well, but I meant to put this in DBlackman's acan thread. He had a note at the bottom that said that he would consider trades, so I was asking if he would be interested in a trade for my nuclear greens and darth maul frags.

  8. I broke the socket when I was pulling an old bulb out of my fixture. It is a 250 watt DE fixture. I am trying to get a replacement as quick as possible. Anybody have something lying around that I could borrow until I can buy one, or anybody have one they are willing to sell?

  9. That was quicker than I thought. I had a few people PM me, so as of now, I believe everything is spoken for. If anybody can't take them for whatever reason, I will post on here what is still available.

edit: Nobody mentioned interest in the tank yet, so it is still available.

  10. I have a few accidental frags that have just been sitting on my sand bed for a while. If anybody wants them, send me a PM and we can set up a time to come pick them up. I am in Pflugerville.

I will attach pictures later, but they wont be good quality because they will be from my cell phone (lens cracked when I dropped my camera).

    Up for grabs:

2 - little over 1" frags of Idaho Grape (bought some SPS corals online a while back for my last tank and this has grown rather quickly, and been accidently fragged a number of times)

1 - probably 2" x 1" red monti cap (this broke off a piece that came from the show tank at Aquatek)

2 - reddish-brown people eater zoas. One frag is 4 or so polyps and the other is 7 or so. I am partially color blind, but I see these as having a brown base with red lines and neon green mouths. (bought these from Atlantis Aquariums a while back).

Don't need anything in return. Just shoot me a PM if you have any interest.

Also, I have a 30 gallon oceanic cube still in my house. Last time I put this up I had some interest, but nobody actually came by to pick it up, and then I started to get busy at work so I didn't answer the last few responses. Still sitting in my garage, and still free. It has 5 holes drilled in the back and the back is spray painted black. I will put up a picture of it too when I get a chance.

  11. I am in the process of building my first guitar (east Indian rosewood b/s and cedar topped small body guitar based on the olson body style). I sold my guitar to fund the buying the tools, and have just started building #1. I will post some pictures when I make progress.
