  1. Keep us informed and take pictures. Raising the fry is pretty hard from what I have read. It would be awesome if it works out though. Do you have an anemome for them?

Yeah I have a huge lta right next to where theyre laying eggs. Im hoping that maybe the clowns will keep them near the lta. If theyll stay close the may be ok. The clowns are very protective of the whole corner of the tank

  2. From what I've read, keeping the fry safe is a true magic act.... but if by some stroke of luck you hatch a few, I have an empty 12 gallon nano that has been sitting and waiting for the day when mine might finally decide to make some woopie! You are welcome to house the fry in it, if/when it happens.

sounds good im going to keep an eye on them... Anyone know how long the eggs take to hatch? Also do i just try and scoop them with a net?

  3. Ive seen my clowns clearing out a area of sand in my tank. They've both been clearing out sand by a rock ledge and also been very protective of this corner of the tank. Should I be expecting frys soon? Also whats the best way to keep them safe. My wrassses will make lunch of them.

  4. Cool cool... id swing by tonight if i didnt have so much **** work to do. Well if you still have it ill be by tomorrow what times good for you. Even if you dont I can swing by and get some shots for you for a frag of something with some color... Your not too too far from me so i could take your progress shots if you want

  5. Im wanting to put in the overflow boxes insides the tank. Ive run the siphon thing for too long and want to switch to the interior boxes with the bulkhead at the bottom. Is it easier to make them myself or have them put in by a professional, if there even someone who could do that?

    thanks

Email prof he did all the drilling and acrylic for my 90. Great work and prices

  6. any pics or model?Dimensions?

24"x16"x12" nothing wrong with it just need something bigger that i can keep a fuge in as well... check my post under reef keeping "90 is up" ill put some better ones up tomorrow

If anyone has a sump thats too big for their set up lmk and we can make a trade

  7. Im thinking of setting up a small quarantine tank cause my blue hippo keeps getting ick. What all do i need to set up a small 10g tank. do i need a skimmer or can i just slap a small hob filter on it? any tips as to how to address this too? Anything thats reef safe? I really dont want to go through the hell of tying to catch him.

  8. AndrewT.... Great job on the tank and congrats on leopard wrasse. I think you did right by adding the 2 wrasses at the same time. I'm limited in adding any wrasses to my tank...my sixline wrasse will just harass any wrasse I place in the tank. But I wouldn't trade it.....it keeps my clams pest free.

PS---By the way, the candycanes we traded.....they're turned really pretty and they're huge.

Thanks cindy... Yeah i love them both they add a lot of color to the tank. Im glad to hear the candycanes are great. the ones i got from you guys look great as well. I just threw all my stuff under halides so im just now getting some good growth. I cant wait to get some more sps in there.

  9. What kind of filtration are you looking for? The LS and LR should provide some filtration.

nothing specific just wanting to try and keep my tank as clean as possible. Wondering if theres anything other than the sand, cheato, and rock i can add

  10. I just set up my fuge the other day and im wondering what all I need to throw in there to maintain good filtration through out the tank. Its a 10g fuge and i currently have a 1" sand bed a bunch of cheato and a few pieces of of lr... should i add anything else in there or is that sufficient enough?

  11. I need to raise the salinity a bit in my tank whats the easiest way to do this? Should i mix a bucket and add a little extra salt? Or just mix a norma 5g batch and poor it in? Im needing to do a water change so if theres a more simple way to do it durring the process lmk. Im pretty sure you cant just add some salt to the sump can you?

  12. Did you add these guys at the same time? You might have added too much too fast for a new tank.

Ive been adding stability to my tank when i added the new wrases... little guys are happy as can be. its helps to prevent a bacterial overload when adding new fish. stuff is great
