I am thinking about adding a pair of erectus saehorses for my tank, and would like to hear other peoples thoughts on my tank. It is a 29g biocube with a chiller. I have slowly dropped the temp down to 74f, and it stays there no problem. I have around 50lbs of liverock, and since dosing zeo, my PO4 and Nitrates are undetectable. I am also running a Tunze 9002 in the middle chamber. I do have 2 acro colonies, and a small mini carpet. Its about the size of a quarter. I have my flow minimal, and everything seems happy. I do have lots of LPS, but nothing that seahorse.org doesnt recommend, except for those that I mentioned. I have a tailspot blenny in there, and would like to add a couple firefish and a clown goby. Maybe some sexy shrimp unless the the horses will eat them. I also want a clam at some point. Like a 3" maxima. Can anyone think of why I might not be successful?

Melev got banned from RC. Over a stupid April fools joke. They are so uptight there. Sucks about his tank!
What a great resource to loose over a prank. Those guys seem to take themselves way too seriously over there. Their loss.

I am in for at least $50.

Good job going with the Garf rock!

looks great.

no its not. They will most likely kill the odd one unless you have a very large tank. It might take a little while, but unless there is enough space, you will have some huge territory issues.

I was thinking that you could mount the float in a different place. Maybe using a aqua lifter pump would give a slower surge to your water level.

Laura at rockin' Reefs gets them in already eating mysis. I am thinking about getting a couple myself

Mine took about a week to start pulling good skimmate. Its a great skimmer once it breaks in a little.

$20.

I would look into getting a dremmel. They are handy for your reef tank in many ways. They are pretty cheap at Lowes right now, and you cant beat it for cutting precise holes in plastic.

I have one corey in the equipment forum.

I'd like to see it on my grill.
+1, with a little butter and garlic.

There was a guy on craigslist with phyto and roti cultures. I am not sure if he still has it going or not. I also think DT's has a roti culture you could probably have ordered through Aquatek.

great skimmer that I got new from another member on another forum a few months ago. Great for a 14 biocube or most any other nano.
