My chiller made a scrubbing noise when it first came on last week, so I knew something was up. Today, it started to squeel and still scrub. It is a current prime 1/15. I was going to try and take off the housing and see if I could check the fan...but after removing the 8 small screws there is still something attached to the upper part of the housing. When I peek in it looks like a 1/8" metal line that coils 2 or 3 times on the left side of unit runs to something attached to the upper housing. Anyone know how to get in there, or somebody to fix it tomorrow? My tank runs so hot in the daytime, I hope it makes it through tomorrow.

does anyone have a chiller that you could sell me? I need one for a 24 gal nano, but would like one that I could use in a 55 as well. Thanks

I would like some live rock if you can beat LFS prices. also some used powerheads and HO lighting for a 18 gal(havnt measured yet). Also some interesting frags if you have some.

does someone have a reasonably priced chiller out there for me? I have fans set up behind my MH keeping my tank at about 75, but that wont last in my house in mid summer. Thanks

I just want to thank you again for the beautiful tank...we fought an algae bloom and a few tense moments after the move, but the tank has settled down beautifully, and has become a great addition to our lives. We are really happy with it. thanks again..Hamp and Toni

Well, finally took that thing apart, which was a little tricky, and greased the fan shaft and sprayed some wd 40 in the housing. Put it back together, and it is working quieter than ever.
