  1. I've got a 24 gallon Aquapod that was taken down recently. Would like to sell as a complete package. $400.00 I'm in S. Austin and will be available this weekend or in the evenings for pickup.

    • Aquapod 24 Gallon Aquarium w/ glass top
    • 150W HQI SunPod w/ original bulb (used about a week or two)
    • Hamilton 14,000K DE bulb (about 5 months old)
    • Black oak stand @ 30” wide (holds tank and equipment well)
    • CPR Aquatics AquaFuge2 PS Small (Protien Skimmer & Refugium). Includes original pump for Protein Skimmer Water Capacity: 3.6 Gallons Dimensions: 19 1/4" L x 4" W x 15"

*** All items except stand were purchased new and are less than 6 months old ***

No modifications to the structure has been made.

  2. I'm running a MAG 7 on my 58 gallon. Plenty of flow although a little on the hummy side. Most overflow boxes are rated @ 650gph for a single U-Tube. With head pressure loss in a sump, it works perfect for my setup - very few bends. I've got (2) Koralia 2 in the tank.

I've use MAG pumps both internally and externally with no problems leaking.

  3. Cinderblocks make for a great base for stands. Here is a few pictures of a past stand I built for a 90 gallon 48x18 footprint tank. It was made with plywood, shoe moulding, cinderblocks, 1x4 for the trim and wainsoating as a skin over the cinderblocks. The shoe moulding was nailed to the plywood to give the wainscoating something to attach too. The 1x4 was nailed to the outside edge of the plywood for trim. I painted everything black first as it made it easier to work with. Touch-up painting was all that was needed.
